Seattle, WA — Wrongful death attorney Chris Davis recently helped a bereaved mother file a claim after losing her son to a negligently prescribed dosage of pain medication. Her son, a 15-year-old autistic boy, was taken to Seattle Children’s Hospital for a routine tooth extraction and was given a fentanyl patch containing the highest recommended dosage. The next morning at home, he was found unresponsive and pronounced dead the scene.
Wrongful death attorney Chris Davis hopes to hold the hospital accountable. “I’ve already consulted with three experts across the country — all of them say this is a very egregious case. First, he never should have been given [the fentanyl patch]. Second, he was given the highest dose available.”
Ohio Wrongful Death Attorney Charles Boyk has also written about this case.
